A friendly football match was held in Bandarban on the celebration of the International Youth Day. The friendly football match was held at Laimipara Junior High School premises in Bandarban on Wednesday afternoon in collaboration with
Simavi, Bangladesh Nari Pragati Sangha and implemented by Bandarban Ananya Kalyan Sangathan (AKS), Gross and Tahajlngdong. At that time, the members of Laimipara Adolescent Club, which is part of the “Our Life; Our Health, Our Future” project, took part In the football match divided into the orange and the blue teams In the football match, the blue team defeated the Orange team 1-0.
Sadar Upazila Youth Development Officer Nu PruChing Marma was present as the chief guest in the friendly football match presided over by Executive Director of Bandarban Ananya Kallyan Sangathon (AKS) Daw nai Prue Naly.
Among others present at the time were Hawlian Bom, the chief (village) of Laimi Para, and the local people of Lain Para; including Mamising Marma the project coordinator of the Ananya Welfare Organization (AKS). At the end of the friendly football match, the guests handed over medals and prizes to the runners-up and the winning team.
