Anger Against Rape – International Women’s Violence Prevention Day has been observed in Bandarban with this theme. The event was pectoris by Miss. Kulsuma Surmin employee of AKS. On this occasion, candle lighting and human chain was organized on Wednesday evening, 25 November 2020. The human chain was organized in front of Bangabandhu Muktamancha in the city on the initiative of Sustainable Rising Through Empowerment and Youth Advancement-SREYA project implemented by Ananya Kalyan Sangstha(AKS). Human rights leader Mrs.Daw Nai Prue Naly spoke in the human chain. She was accompanied by representatives of various socio-cultural organizations. Hundreds of members of various organizations including the national network of women’s organizations Durbar took part in this human chain.
