Today at 10 a.m. the local NGO Eco-Development has organized a rally with AKS, BNPS, Tajingdong, Humanitarian Foundation, Grouse, teenagers, men, and women by wearing an orange mask through the market and gathered in front of Bangabandhu Mukto Mancha in Bandarban city. The theme of the event was protection and response for women and girls during the Covid-19 pandemic period: increasing information and allocation as needed. Especially pregnant women, Old aged, adolescent girls, and mothers face many problems. They need health care, and reproductive health care during menstruation. This is the responsibility of Government and non-government organizations to work about women’s sensitivity. We would like to thank the Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) and Global Affairs Canada who have supported us for the meaningful event.
