Leadership to Ensure Adequate Nutrition (LEAN)

Goal

  • Reduce the rate of dementia of children under 5 years of age in the project area to 4%
  • Reduce the BMI effect by 3% in married women(19-49)
  • Reduce the rate of malnutrition among adolescent girls by 5%

Objective

Contribute to the development of maternal and child nutrition in the CHT region.

Activities

  • Sensitized School Management Committee on nutrition
  • Identify, re-engage and train existing adolescent clubs on nutrition activities
  • Facilitate WBCs to organize nutrition session for producers groups
  • Develop, promote and engage Student Brigades on nutrition
  • Organize school-based nutrition fair
  • Support adolescent clubs to host awareness-raising events
